Narbonne Art and History city
Narbonne belongs to the national network of Art and History Towns and Country. The town received the prestigious label « Art and History city» in May 2006 by the Ministry of Culture and Communication which guarantees the skills of the speaker guides, of the organization of the heritage and the quality of their actions.
From the ancient remains to the architecture of the XXth century, the towns and country shows the diversity of the heritage.
Nowadays Narbonne commits to the public in an active approach to dissemination of knowledge, awareness, mediation, conservation of the architectural quality and living environment.
Guided tours are organized regularly starting from the Tourist Information Center and the Educational Heritage and Museums Service offers throughout the year visits for classes, for a young audience.
